Avery Johnson (she/her/hers)

Texas Ex living in Austin, TX working in Freelance. I participated in the rigorous Texas Creative Sequence at UT Austin as an art director. I am a huge fan of radioactive lizards (see down below), and a current cat owner. He is the cutest little black cat, named Basquiat after my favorite artist. I have a passion for doodling, coming up with ideas in the shower, and almost passing out from intense games on my switch including Super Smash Bros and Fire Emblem. Getting my voice heard and amplifying other’s stories is something I strive to do, which is why I have found myself in advertising. When it comes to design and psychology these topics have always been something I have been passionate about, so getting to combine the two together is pretty damn cool.

You’ll probably find me doing research on my new favorite topic of the week or drawing on my iPad way too late at night.
